Reviewing Progress

Reviewing Progress

The LADO must regularly monitor the progress of cases through:

  • Evaluation discussions or meetings
  • Or:
  • Liaison with the police and/or Children’s Social Care

A final evaluation discussion or meeting must be held at the end of enquiries to ensure that all tasks have been completed and where appropriate to agree an action plan for learning lessons in order to inform practice and procedure.  This should include issues arising from any decision to suspend a member of staff, the duration of the suspension and whether or not suspension was justified.
