Serious Case Reviews

Chapter 8 of Working Together to Safeguard Children 2010 defines the circumstances in which a Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB), under regulation 5 of the Local Safeguarding Children Boards Regulations 2006, is required to undertake a review of serious cases.   Where possible lessons should be acted upon quickly without necessarily waiting for the Serious Case Review to be completed.
